Q: I bought your templates, How can I download the latest release?
A: You can always get the latest release at no extra cost. If you bought using eSellerate, please go to this page http://store.esellerate.net/support and enter your mail address and order number, you'll see your online invoice again, and you can download the template from there. If you bought using other method, please send me a mail message
Q: Is there support for Legacy templates?
A: Yes, we released a Clarion/Legacy version.
Q: Does the Browse Header Sort template work with SQL?
A: Yes, you can setup sort orders in your browse using keys and/or the "Additional Sort Fields" field. This template will link the columns to the sort orders you defined.
Q: Is the Browse Header Sort affected by colors or icons? (they add fields to the queue structure)
A: No, because the template identifies columns using the Listbox Format, not the queue structure.
Q: Is the Browse Header Sort template restricted to 3 sort orders?
A: The first release was, but the latest version supports any number of columns and sort orders. BTW, the latest version includes both the initial release and the current release, so clients already using the first release can install the new one without problem, and convert their browses as needed.
Q:There are other Browse Header Sort products in the market...
A: Yes, there are excellent products with this feature, but they usually include lots of other features and cost a lot more. If you need some of the other features, you should buy one of them (Superbrowse, CWHandy, CCSSQL, Xplore), if you only need to sort by clicking on headers, this template is a good deal.
Q: I can't pay using Paypal from my country.
A: We can receive payments from everywhere using eSellerate as our merchant.
Q: What happens after I buy the template?
A: Our preferred method of payment is via eSellerate, after you pay, you'll see a download link in your online invoice. If you paid using Paypal, I'll email the template to you as soon as I can. If you paid by buying Gitano's Software products, please send me a message. You'll receive an installer file containing the template, documentation and a sample APP&DCT. The installer can register the template. The templates are very easy to implemment.
Q: Why are you selling the template so cheap?
A: I needed the features for a project I'm working on. I had implemented these features before with embed code, and decided to create a template to ease my job. After I finished, I thought that very probably many programmers develop small templates like this and keep them for themselves, because there is no motivation in giving your programming away for free, and to enter the 3rd party market you need a product with lots of features to justify the $39 to $399 price range. I had read something about Micro Payments, so, I thought, we need a lower price range for simpler templates with simpler but useful features, we need "Micro Templates".
